URA earns crucial point on the road in Fort Portal

Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Football Club earned a crucial away point off Tooro United at the St Paul Seminary Play ground in Fort Portal on Tuesday.

Following a goal-less opening 45 minutes, Micheal Birungi brought life to the game with the opener, 10 minutes into the final stanza.

The visitors rallied from behind to bring the game level with the equalizer from Charles Musiige in the 64th minute.

Team captain Shafic Kuchi Kagimu was the only cautioned player by referee Julius Kasibante in the match.

The gaffer Sam Ssimbwa, with his technical wing called for all the three changes in the game.

Yeseri Waibi, Anwaru Ntege and Mikidadi Ssenyonga were all introduced for goal scorer Birungi, Ivan Sserubiri and Rwothomio Cromwell respectively.

A point earned in Fort Portal is good enough to add the tally to 30 points from 19 matches played thus far.

The team travels back to Kampala in the night and will quickly reassemble for the next line of duty; at home against KCCA this Friday, 31st January 2020 at the Arena of Visions, Ndejje University in Bombo.
