Ivan Ahimbisibwe finally opened his league account with URA FC last Thursday in a one all draw against Soltilo Bright Stars FC at Kavumba Recreation Ground.

The “Hunter” nodded in Laban Tibiita’s searching corner kick in the first half before Nelson Ssenkatuka levelled matters towards the closing stages of the match.

To him, the goal was a sigh of relief after he had gone the first two matches against UPDF FC and Gaddafi FC without scoring and he is optimistic that’s the first of the many to come.

“I was happy to open my league account at URA FC after going two games without scoring. The goal was important to me and the club and now I believe It’s the first of the many to come.”

He said while speaking to www.urafc.co.ug

“In the past two seasons while at UPDF FC I scored 20 League goals that is 10 goals in each and here I want to score more that 15 goals and also compete for the golden boot.”

He added.

The goal against Bright Stars FC was his second in URA FC colours with the first coming in the FUFA Super 8 cup semi final against KCCA FC.

Coincidentally, both goals he has scored for the Tax Collectors have come from headers.
