URA FC can confirm the departure of Lutalo George William and Nsumba Augustine from the club technical team following contract expiry.

The duo formed an integral part of former club head coach Sam Ssimbwa’s backroom staff as assistant managers in a journey that lasted for a good three years at the helm of the Tax Collectors.

They joined the club back in 2018, a period that coincided with Ssimbwa signing his maiden contract to consolidate power on the technical bench at URA FC.

It must also be remembered that Nsumba was URA FC’s Junior team head coach prior to assuming an assistant role in Sam Ssimbwa’s technical team.

During his stint at the helm of the Junior team, the club legend helped nurture special club talents like Akankwasa Alex, Muhammad Lubega, Mpoza Steven and Kokus Alou who are currently mainstays in the first team after promotion last year.

Lutalo also shared an affinity for young talent and was much invested in the idea of developing players and readying them for competition at the club.

The two gentlemen follow Sam Ssimbwa to the exit door of the club. We as a club wish them success in all their future endeavours.
