URA FC is delighted to announce that Enock Walusimbi has joined the club on a 2-year contract.
He joins as a free agent from Scottish League one side Peterhead FC.
A leader, Walusimbi who is calm and good at aerial duels can ably play in central defence as well as right back.
“Lucio” is also a Uganda Premier League and CECAFA Kagame club cup champion with Express FC in 2021.
In the UPL winning season were he was skipper at Express FC, he featured in 24 games, keeping 14 clean sheets.
Walusimbi also previously captained Uganda (U23) KOBS in 2021 and made his debut for Uganda Cranes on 29th August 2021 in the 2-1 defeat against Ethiopia and has since made 9 appearances.
Last season while at Peterhead, he made six appearances.
His experience and leadership will without a doubt be of importance and value to the Tax Collectors in their attempt to restore the old days silverware glory.
