A number of Tax Collectors where in action for their respective provinces.

At Pece War Memorial Stadium in Gulu, hosts Acholi province welcomed Ankole.

Both sides had URA FC players with our teenage right back Justin Opiro putting up a commendable and brilliant 90 minutes performance as his Acholi province side drew goaless with Ankole to progress to the quarter final.

Hudu Mulikyi missed out of action as he is with the national team.

On the other hand, our goalkeeper Denis Otim and forward Ivan Ahimbisibwe who skippered the side featured for Ankole.

At Kavumba Recreation Ground, Norman Namanya and Joseph Ssemuju guided their Tooro Province to the summit of group D after defeating Buganda province 0-1 before Namanya went on to be named Man Of The Match. It should also be noted that Tooro is coached Fred Muhumuza who is our coach as well though he wasn’t in the dugout as he is out with Uganda Cranes.

On the other hand, Vianey Sekajugo returned for Buganda and was skipper while Joshua Letti Lubwama and Saidi Kyeyune didn’t feature.

At Mbale Municipal stadium, James Alitho was on the score sheet as his Bugisu province defeated West Nile 2-0 but never went through.

Custodian Rogers Omedwa was an unused substitute for West Nile while Ibrahim Dada wasn’t in the match day squad.
