URA FC vs Soltilo Bright Stars- Mehta stadium, Lugazi, 4pm

URA FC will welcome Soltilo Bright Stars FC at Mehta stadium, Lugazi on Friday evening in the FUFA Super 8 Quarter final encounter as they aim at progressing to the semi final.

The Tax Collectors are into week 4 of Preseason and will be hoping to use their fitness advantage over their opponents who are into week 2 of Preseason.

Prior to this match, URA FC have played five friendly matches in which they have won four and lost once against Vipers SC earlier this week.

It will also be a chance for the Tax Collectors to further test their new signings against Bright Stars.

A number of new lads like Ibrahim Wammanah, Shariph Kimbowa, Moses Aliro, Denis Otim, Rogers Omedwa, Denis Kisiriko, Enock Walusimbi, amongst others are expected to feature in this encounter.

Sam Timbe (Head Coach).

“We have had some friendly games so we are ready. This is a tournament that is going to help us to further fine tune our squad and we are going to take it so serious as it will be key ahead of the new season.”

Hudu Mulikyi (Captain).

“It’s a good tournament for us and we want to win every game to win. We have played a number of friendly games which we believe will be important in the super 8 and further more we are playing at home which we want to make it count.”

The Tax Collectors finished 5th in the previous season while Soltilo Bright Stars FC finished in 9th place and only got a ticket to come in after Arua Hill SC who finished 4th failed to meet the FUFA club licensing requirements.

The winner between the two sides will advance to the semi final and will face the winner between Wakiso Giants FC and KCCA FC who also play on the same day.
