Wammanah started his UPL career at KCCA FC from St Julian SS Gayaza in 2016 before his spell under coach Mike Mutebi failed to take off.

He then joined Proline on loan where he became a main stay and integral member of the side as well as enjoying a couple of Silverware.

“Casemiro” as profoundly refered to by his peers had this to say in his initial remarks after unveiling before adding.

“It’s a big privilege to join URA FC because it’s a big team and when such opportunity comes you have to take it up.”

“It’s a very big move to me in my career because it will help me as a player to develop. I want to help the club win silverware in my first season and compete which I am sure with the quality of players around we shall realise it”.

During his time at UPDF FC, he was summoned for National Duty and featured in the Regional Tour games.

His mobility, combativeness, composure, passing intelligence and ability to cover huge distance on the field of play are some of the attributes he posesses as a player and a big reason that attracted the Tax Collectors to sign him.

He becomes the sixth signing at the club after teenagers Kisiriko Denis Luzige, Kisolo John Innocent, Amis Bwangani and Godfrey Sekibengo as well as the versatile Aliro Moses Okabo.
