James Begisa renewed his stay at URA FC last week for the next two years that will see him serve the club until the 2025/26 season.

The roving right back has now come out to speak for the first time since the renewal.

In an exclusive interview with the club media team, Begisa expressed his deep gratitude towards the club and its management for their trust in his abilities.

“I’m incredibly grateful to URA FC for the opportunity to continue my journey here,” Begisa stated.

“The past two seasons have been a nice experience, filled with growth and happiness. I feel honored to wear this jersey and represent this club.”

Begisa’s extension comes as a boost for URA FC, with the right back being a key player in the squad’s defensive and offensive plays.

His ability to balance both attacking and defensive duties has made him an invaluable asset to the team and arguably the best right back in the land.

The club’s management has expressed their confidence in Begisa’s potential to contribute significantly to the club’s future successes.

“I want to also thank the management, my teammates, and the fans for believing in me,” he continued. “This new contract is not just a renewal, but a commitment from me to work even harder. I am dedicated to helping the club achieve its goals and to improve as a player. Together with my teammates, I am confident that we can reach new heights.”

He concluded.
