James Begisa has returned to full fitness and he has joined the rest of the team in full training at Gayaza Hormsdalen Primary School ground.

The roving right back is yet to feature for the Tax Collectors this season following a muscle strain he sustained during training in pre-season after our FUFA Super 8 quarter final home victory against Soltilo Bright Stars, which was the last game he played.

Following a few weeks of lay off, he has now returned to full fitness and joined the rest of his teammates in full training and now gearing to get his season officially started.

“It’s been tough times as no player would wish to be out but I want to thank the club medical team for the tremendous work done to see me back and join the rest of my teammates in full training. I feel okay and want to continue working hard in this international break to get back to my best.”

He told the club media.

In his absence at right back, skipper Enock Walusimbi has filled the void in the first three games against UPDF FC, Gaddafi FC and Soltilo Bright Stars.

The Tax Collectors will welcome Wakiso Giants FC in their fourth match on Saturday 21st October 2023 at Mehta stadium Lugazi.
