Midfielder Saidi Kyeyune got off the mark this season on Wednesday as the Tax Collectors defeated Wakiso Giants FC 2-1 to pick up their first victory at Mehta Sports Stadium, Lugazi on Tuesday in the Startimes Uganda Premier League.
He scored the first goal of the encounter in the 33rd minute from a rebound after custodian Samson Kirya spilled Dada’s effort.
It was his first of the many goals to come this season for Saido as he hopes.
“I am happy to get off the mark this season. I have been working hard for this moment and I want to continue scoring more goals for the club this season as we continue closing in the gap between us and teams above us.”

The goal and commanding display also won him the Pilsner Man Of The Match accolade. Kyeyune and URA will return to action on Easter Sunday on the road at Arua Hill SC.
