SC Villa vs URA FC – Muteesa ll Stadium, Wankulukuku – 3pm Live on FUFA TV

URA FC will make a short trip to Muteesa ll Stadium, Wankulukuku on Saturday to play against SC Villa in the final match of the Startimes Uganda Premier League season 2022/23.

The Tax Collectors will be aiming at ending the season on a high note following a commanding victory in the previous game against Gaddafi FC at home.

Team News.

Derrick Ndahiro has made a timely return and he is in the match day squad as well as goalkeeper Yusuf Wasswa.

Alfred Leku, Kabon Living, Hannington Ssebwalunyo (All not named in match day squad) Justin Opiro (school) and Salim Abdallah (AWOL) won’t take part in the match.

“It’s the final game of the season and we want to end on a high. It’s a game that our opponents want to win but we also want positive results and we shall show it in the match from the word go.”

He said in the Pre-Match interview.

Nafian Alionzi (Captain)

“We end the season against SC Villa and we want to end it with positive results. It’s a season in which we haven’t performed so well especially in the first round which affected our target of winning the championship but that is football. We want to end the season such that we bounce back stronger next season.”

The last 25 meetings have seen URA FC win 9 times with 12 draws.

The previous meeting in the first round at Nakisunga Saza Ground this season between both sides ended 1-1 with Ibrahim Dada scoring from a beautiful free kick before Ivan Serubiri levelled from the spot.

URA FC are currently in 6th place on 39 points from 27 games while Villa top the log on 52 points from the same number of games.
