Startimes Uganda Premier League

URA FC vs Busoga United @Mehta Sports Stadium, Lugazi -4pm – Live On FUFA TV and 102.1 FUFA fm.

URA FC will return into Startimes Uganda Premier League action this Saturday as they welcome Busoga United.

The encounter will mark the return of the club to the “favorite tax collection den” Mehta Sports Stadium, Lugazi.

The Tax Collectors will be aiming at nothing but victory inorder to continue with their perfect second round excellent run that has seen us win three out of three so far, keeping clean sheets in all.

Team News:

Skipper Nafian Alionzi, right back James Begisa won’t be available for the encounter as they are on National Duty with Uganda Cranes. Salim Abdallah is also out injured while Bruno Bunyaga debut wait more as he has just returned from an injury.

However the good news is that assistant skipper Hudu Mulikyi has returned from suspension after sitting out in our last outing at Bul FC as well as right back Justine Opiro who returned from National duty with Uganda Hippos with the rest of the players all available for selection.

“It’s another important game against Busoga United that we want to win inorder to continue with our good run. We know it won’t be an easy game and as a team we are ready to take them on. We have had enough time to prepare and the mood in camp is good. We can only hope for victory.”

“We are taking one game at a time and it’s now Busoga United in our line. We want to continue winning and everyone is set for the game. Being at home will be vital and we shall do our best to ensure we win.”

The previous nine meetings have seen us win five times, with two draws and two losses.

Our first round encounter saw us defeat Busoga 4-0 at Kakindu Stadium with Kabon Living grabbing a brace while Derrick Nsibambi and George Senkaaba scored one a piece.

We currently sit in 8th place on 23 points from 17 games while our opponents are 12th on 15 points from 17 games.

The match will be televised on the home of Ugandan Sport FUFA TV and the football Radio 102.1 FUFA fm at exactly 4pm.
