URA FC vs Gaddafi FC – Mehta stadium, Lugazi @4pm

URA FC returns to action with evening with a home tie against Jinja based side Gaddafi FC at Mehta stadium Lugazi.

In what will be the first season home game, the Tax Collectors will be hoping for positive results infront of their home fans.

URA FC will also be hoping to get their first win this season in match day two following their barren stalemate in match day one at UPDF FC last Sunday.

Team News.

Midfielder Nicholas Kabonge, James Begisa, Ibrahim Dada, Bruno Bunyaga and Joseph Ssemuju are in the match day squad but the good news is that Vianey Ssekajugo, Ibrahim Wammanah and youngsters Denis Kisiriko and Sekibengo Godfrey are in the squad and available for selection.

“It’s our first game at home and we want to start on a positive note. We didn’t win our first game at UPDF and this is a chance to turn things around. We have tried much to correct what we didn’t do well in the previous match and we hope for the best.”

Enock Walusimbi.

“We are very prepared for the game and ready to pick maximum points in our first game at home. As defenders, we shall fight to keep the clean sheet as the forwards look for goals, something we have worked on through out our training.”

Head To Head.

This will be the fifth meeting between both sides with URA FC managing two wins, both coming at home with the most previous one ending 4-0 last season, one draw and one loss on the road.

As URA FC drew goaless at UPDF FC in match day one, Gaddafi FC lost 2-1 infront of their own backyard to Vipers SC.
