Uganda Revenue Authority Football club will be back in action on Easter Sunday evening to take on Arua Hill SC in the Startimes Uganda Premier League at Barifa stadium, Arua.

The Tax Collectors are already visitors in Arua and will be aiming at completing a double over the Kongolo following the 1-0 first round victory at Nakisunga Saza Ground.

Since the turn of the year, Sam Timbe’s lads have dropped points only once against Busoga United and could move up to third on the table with a win at Barifa.

Team News.

The Tax Collectors will miss the services of former Arua Hill forward Alfred Leku due to injury, Benjamin Nyakoojo, Najib Fesali, Salim Abdallah and Patrick Mbowa who is doing exams while right back Justine Opiro has returned from school. Ronald Kigongo who Scored the lone goal in the first round has also been included in the squad while goalie Hannington Ssebwalunyo has been replaced by Yusuf Wasswa.

“We have prepared well and ready to take on Arua Hill. We are aware of the mistakes we made when we last played them here and we have rectified. If we keep playing like previously and get a win it will put us in a respectful place where we are supposed to be appearing. We need this game and need to win it for our fans to gift them a fantastic package for Easter.”

“We lost the last game here but this time round I am hopeful it won’t happen. We are much ready and lively to get positive results in Arua. We are going to fight for three points. It’s a long journey coming here and you can Only be happy when you get positive results.”

It will be the fourth meeting between both sides is either side getting one win and a draw in the last three ties. URA FC won 1-0 in the first round on 12th November 2023 at Nakisunga Saza Ground thanks to substitute Ronald Kigongo second half strike.

Currently on the table, URA are 5th on 29 points from 20 games while the home side are 8th on 26 points from 18 games.
