URA FC welcome Wakiso Giants this evening at Mehta stadium Lugazi as the Startimes Uganda Premier League match day 4 continues.

The Tax Collectors will be hoping to return to winning ways following a draw in their previous encounter at Soltilo Bright Stars FC as well as keeping their unbeaten run.

Team News.

James Begisa returns and he is in line to make his first season appearance. Three other players that is Hudu Mulikyi, skipper Enock Walusimbi and Laban Tibiita also returned from national duty two days back and are available for selection.

On the other hand, Shariph Kimbowa (injury) Bruno Bunyaga (injury) and Godfrey Sekibengo (school) won’t be present.

“It’s another important game that we want to win. Wakiso is a tricky side but we have an edge over them as we are at home. We want to win so that we close in the gap at the top. I have been away with the national team but been following through my fellow coaches and we know how we shall handle our opponents.”

Moses Aliro.

“It’s a game I want to put in extra effort to help my side win. Facing my former paymasters doesn’t put me on any pressure and to me It’s a normal game just like any other. We are set and ready to take them on.”

Aliro, Vianey Sekajugo, Shariph Kimbowa, Joshua Letti Lubwama and goalkeeping coach Swaibu Ssebagala are former Purple Sharks.

Head To Head.

The previous six meetings have seen URA FC win twice, drawn twice and lost twice.

The last meeting between the two sides last season at Mehta stadium saw URA win 2-1 thanks to Saidi Kyeyune and Kabon Living strikes before Shariph Kimbowa pulled one back for the Purple Sharks through a penalty.

From three games played, URA FC have five points in 7th place while Wakiso Giants have 4 points in 9th place.
