Soltilo Bright Stars FC 0-2 URA FC
URA FC got back to winning ways after defeating Soltilo Bright Stars FC 2-0 in their own backyard Kavumba Recreation Ground on Saturday 01st April 2023.
The Tax Collectors made a number of changes from the previous XI with skipper Nafian Alionzi, James Begisa returning from national duty while Hassan Kalega, Ibrahim Dada and Vianey Sekajugo also started.
The home side had an early chance to break the deadlock but custodian Nafian Alionzi was alert as he tamed Yasin Mugume free kick.
URA looked dominant in the first stanza and finally their efforts were paid off in the 38th minute when Ibrahim Dada rose high to head in a Sekajugo cross from the left past Sanon Mulabi.
In added time before recess, Kabon Living doubled the lead from the spot after Sekajugo was brought down by Andy Kyambadde in the box.

The second stanza saw head coach Sam Timbe make changes with Joseph Ssemujju, Saidi Kyeyune, Alfred Leku, Kokas Alou coming on at different intervals from Dada, Sekajugo, Kabonge and Kabon.

Ssemujju would have made it three as the game neared it’s death after brilliantly dribbling past the opponents defense before his shot hit the cross bar and later Kyeyune’s rebound going over the bar.
URA FC managed to hold on to ensure they take home all the three points thus getting back to winning ways with a clean sheet.
It was the fourth victory and fourth clean sheet out of the five second round matches played so far.
The win took URA FC to 5th place on 26 points from 19 games and will return to action on Wednesday 05th April 2023 as they welcome Wakiso Giants FC at Mehta Sports Stadium, Lugazi.
