Rwothomio scored a well-struck penalty in the 85th minute and Kyeyune finished off a quick counter-attack three minutes later.
Herbert Achai scored KCCA’s consolation deep in the first of the
four added minutes.

The visitors had two forced changes because of injuries; first on the stroke of half time when Julius Poloto limped out for Nicholas Kasozi.
Five minutes into the second half, Fillbert Obenchan took over from the injured John Revita as the visitors lost their second player through injury.
Joackiim Ojera got cautioned ten minutes into the second half.

Nicholas Kasozi registered a shot on target, well tamed by goalkeeper Lukwago Charles on the hour mark. KCCA came close to breaking the dead-lock when Mike Mutyaba set up Mustafa Kizza but the resultant cross from the latter was parried away by the overstretched goalkeeper Nafian Alionzi.

Julius Mutyaba was booked by referee Muhammed Nasser Kirya with a quarter an hour to play. Moments later Musa Ramathan also got cautioned for pulling down substitute Michael Birungi.
KCCA’s best moment to take the lead fell to Erisa Ssekisambu with 10 minutes to play. The former Express and Vipers’ forward tapped wide Ramathan’s teasing cross from the right after good inter-play with Kasozi.

Achai pulled back a goal in the 91 st minute for the hosts but URA held firm for the closing three minutes for a memorable victory that takes them to 33 points.

“We gave our best shot in the game. We were patient that the goals would come even if they came late. I am contented about our performance” Sam Ssimbwa, head coach noted.
