URA FC won their second pre-season fixture on Wednesday 17th August 2022, beating Lugazi Select 11 by 2-1. The tax collectors braved the heavy evening downpour to record a 2-1 win in Lugazi Mehta Stadium. The tax collector missed 5 players currently camped with the National team preparing for CHAN qualifier match against Tanzania on 28th August 2022 while 3 were missing due to injury.
The entire side looked positive, but from a vantage point, George Ssekaaba was the star of the evening. He bossed the attacking line, scoring a brace. His two goals were well deserved. He looked comfortable in attack, demonstrating his impressive shooting and off-the movement skills.
Lugazi United Select 11 had a goal and a couple of chances to the delight of their fans.
