URA FC midfielder Norman Namanya has shared his thoughts on his inaugural season in the Startimes Uganda Premier League, expressing his gratitude for an impressive start and his aspirations for the future.

In an exclusive interview with the club’s media team, Namanya opened up about his experiences, achievements, and goals.

Namanya, who joined URA FC at the beginning of the 2023/24 season, made a significant impact on the pitch. The talented midfielder scored five goals and provided five assists, contributing significantly to the team’s performance.

Reflecting on these achievements, Namanya expressed his satisfaction with his contributions and the positive reception he received from teammates, coaches, and fans alike.

“I’m truly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had this season,” Namanya said. “Scoring five goals and assisting five more in my first season is something I’m very proud of. It’s been a learning experience, and I’ve grown a lot as a player.”

He also highlighted the supportive environment at URA FC as a key factor in his successful adaptation to the league.

“The support from the coaching staff, my teammates, and the fans has been incredible. They have all played a huge role in helping me settle in and perform well.”

Looking ahead, Namanya is optimistic about the future and eager to build on his achievements.

“This season has laid a great foundation for me. I am hopeful for an even better season in 2024/25. My aim is to improve my game further, contribute more to the team, and help URA FC achieve its goals.”

Namanya’s determination and positive outlook promise an exciting season ahead for both him and URA FC.
