The Uganda Cranes forward left URA FC after his contract expired on June 30, 2022.
He departs the tax collectors with the best wishes of everyone and the complete set of accolades from the Uganda Premier League, Uganda Cup and CAF confederation cup.
He made 55 appearances for the tax collectors in which he delivered 27 goals, 10 assists and countless smiles and memories.
“Steven is a fighter,” Sam Timbe said in January. “What he has done for this club and continues to do puts him in the bracket of ‘legends’.”
Signed from Maroons in 2020. Steven was a key figure during the last two seasons, putting URA FC on course to clinch a second and third-placed StarTimes Premier League finish and a return to Continental football.
A devastatingly effective player with a great personality, he will, quite rightly, go down as one of best forwards in URA FC’s illustrious history.
