Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club returns to action in the Startimes Uganda Premier League this evening at home against BUL FC at Nakisunga Saaza Ground as match day 3 continues.

Not the best of starts it has been for the Tax Collectors as they are yet to register victory in their last two games, drawing against Onduparaka FC and losing at Express FC.

But against BUL FC, they hope to get off the mark.

Following the last training on Thursday morning at Hormsdalen Primary School, Gayaza, head coach Sam Timbe and new skipper Nafian Alionzi are optimistic of positive results.

“We have been correcting mistakes we made in the last two games and the boys are responding well. We shall go their with the urge of getting victory. The scoring rate has gone high in training and hopefully we do exactly that against BUL FC.”

He told the URA FC Media.

Nafian Alionzi.

“The team is really geared up for tomorrow and everyone is aware of the threat BUL has and they can pause. We are aware that they have got maximum points which ain’t with us. We are geared up and we know what this match means to us as a team. It will be hard but we shall fight.”

He said before commenting on his new role as skipper.

“I am glad am new captain and there is alot to be done. I will start from where my former left, that is Kagimu, he did a tremendous job and you never know more blessings might come and what can make me a good captain is winning so I will do what is needed to bring the team together and get the results.

He added.

No scaring injuries in camp apart from long term absentees like James Alitho, youngster Kokas Alous will also miss the tie.

The last four meetings between the two side has seen URA get two wins, a draw a one loss.

FIFA referee Ali Sabira will be in charge of proceedings and will be assisted by Mafumu Mustapha and Lulenzi Sharif while Wasswa Alex and Mark Ssonko will be fourth official and referee assessor respectively.
