URA FC head coach Sam Timbe has praised his players commitment in the win against Express FC last evening at home in the StarTimes Uganda Premier.

The soft spoken tactician admitted that it wasn’t an easy encounter but the collective team effort played a key role.

“It wasn’t an easy game at all against Express FC and I want to thank my players for the collective effort and fight they put up to get us that important win. I encourage them to put up the same spirit in our next games.”

He told the URA FC media.

The win meant URA FC revenged their first round loss at Wankulukuku with the same margin thanks to Nicholas Kabonge 66th minute strike.

The victory took URA FC on 20 points from 16 games and now sit in 9th place.

Next on card will be a trip to Eastern side Bul FC on Saturday 4th March 2023 at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.
