Patience pains but pays, they say. It’s never easy for anyone to be patient especially when things are not going the right way.

The above brief narration can well suit the relationship of head coach Sam Timbe and URA FC management.

Following inconsistent performances in the first round that saw the club finish with 14 points from 14 games, many thought it was high time the club got rid of head coach Sam Timbe but the management had other plans as they kept trusting him and hoping for the best.

Prior to the second round, the club was beefed up with the addition of players like Joseph Ssemujju, Joshua Letti Lubwama, Nicholas Kabonge and Alfred Leku. Since then, results have been coming URA FC way as they have managed five wins out of six games so far.

To head Coach Sam Timbe, if it wasn’t for the patience from the management, probably things wouldn’t be the way they are thus grateful to them.

“We are on the right way so far and I know even our management is happy with the progress so far and I thank them for being patient with us.” He told the club media.

About the team returning to Lugazi and the impact of fans, he added.

“It’s always good to return to a place you call home and that was a good move for us as we have support here. The People of Lugazi love football so much and we also feel the support while playing here which will help us going forward.”

URA FC currently sit 5th on the log on 29 points from 20 games with an away match at Arua Hill SC next on Easter Sunday.
