URA FC’s StarTimes Uganda Premier League Matchday Six encounter against Blacks Power FC, scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Hoima City Stadium, has been postponed.

The development follows a communication from the Uganda Premier League (UPL) Secretariat confirming the postponement of the fixture after the National Council of Sports (NCS) cancelled Blacks Power FC’s Memorandum of Understanding to use Hoima City Stadium as their home ground for the first round of the 2026/27 season.

According to the communication, the decision was reached to reserve the facility exclusively for international matches, leaving Blacks Power FC to identify an alternative venue for their home fixtures.

New Venue Yet to Be Confirmed

Blacks Power FC have indicated that they are working to establish the next course of action, with further communication regarding their alternative home ground expected in due course.

The change means the Tax Collectors will have to wait for a new date and venue for the Matchday Six fixture, with the Uganda Premier League Secretariat expected to communicate the revised arrangements.

URA FC will continue with their preparations as they await further guidance from the league authorities regarding the rescheduling of the encounter.

The club will keep its supporters and stakeholders informed once official communication on the new fixture details is released.
