URA FC will be in search of their first home win of the season as they host BUL FC this evening at 7 pm in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League match day 5 fixture at Nakivubo Stadium.
After a brief international break, the Tax Collectors return to action looking to build on their impressive 4-0 victory against Mbale Heroes in their last league outing. However, the hosts were held to a 1-1 draw by Mbarara City FC in their previous home fixture and are determined to secure maximum points this time.
Head coach Alex Isabirye’s squad will be missing several players, including Moses Aliro, who is sidelined with a hamstring injury, and Justin Opiro. The youthful talents of Godfrey Sekibengo, Denis Kisiriko, Abdu Magada, and John Innocent Kisolo will also be unavailable as they are representing the Uganda U20 team at the CECAFA U20 AFCON Zonal Qualifiers.
But the good news is the timely return of midfielder Isma Mugulusi from compassionate leave following the demise of his biological father and Ibrahim Wammanah.

Head coach Isabirye and skipper Enock Walusimbi are hopeful of positive results in a game they anticipate to be tight given the fact that their opponents are yet to collect maximum points this season.

BUL FC, still searching for their first win this season after four games, find themselves in 15th place with two points. URA FC, meanwhile sit in 6th place with seven points, aiming to capitalize on their opponent’s struggles and close the gap with the league leaders.
