Norman Namanya is a Ugandan professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for URA FC in the Uganda Premier League. He has developed into an important member of URA’s midfield, contributing both creatively and offensively for the Tax Collectors.

During the 2023/24 Uganda Premier League season, Namanya made 25 appearances, scoring 5 goals and providing 4 assists. He followed this with 21 appearances, 2 goals and 2 assists in 2024/25, demonstrating consistent involvement in URA’s first team.

His performances have also earned him recognition at national level. In October 2024, Namanya was selected for the Uganda Cranes squad for the West Nile Regional Tour, alongside several other URA FC players.

In July 2025, Namanya committed his future to URA FC by signing a new two-year contract running until June 2027. The club described him as part of the heart of its midfield engine, underlining his importance to the squad.

Namanya continued contributing during the 2025/26 campaign, including scoring against Kitara FC in February 2026.
