Godfrey Sekibengo is a young Ugandan professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for URA FC in the Uganda Premier League. He can also operate in central midfield, providing creativity and attacking support from the middle of the pitch.

Sekibengo developed through Streamline Football Academy and later represented St. Henry’s College Kitovu before joining URA FC in 2023. His progression from school and academy football into the Uganda Premier League has established him as one of URA’s promising young midfielders.

During the 2023/24 Uganda Premier League season, Sekibengo made 6 league appearances and provided 2 assists. He increased his involvement considerably in 2024/25, making 12 appearances, scoring 2 goals and playing 773 minutes for URA FC.

Sekibengo has also represented Uganda at youth international level. He was included in the Uganda squad for the 2024 CECAFA U20 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, alongside fellow URA players John Innocent Kisolo and Denis Luzige Kisiriko.

He continued to feature for URA during the 2025/26 season, and current squad information lists him with the No. 23 shirt. His current contract is listed as running until 30 June 2029.
