Arthur Kiggundu is an experienced Ugandan professional footballer currently representing URA FC in the Uganda Premier League. A versatile defender, Kiggundu can operate as a centre back or left back, providing experience, defensive stability and flexibility across the back line. Current URA squad records list him wearing the No. 17 shirt.
Kiggundu has accumulated considerable experience in Ugandan top-flight football, representing clubs including SC Villa, Tooro United, Express FC and Kitara FC before joining URA FC. He spent several seasons with Express, where he became an important part of the club’s defensive unit.
One of the highlights of his career came with Express FC during the 2020/21 season, when he helped the Red Eagles win both the Uganda Premier League title and the CECAFA Kagame Cup. His performances during that successful period also earned him his first Uganda Cranes call-up.
Kiggundu later represented Kitara FC during the 2024/25 season before moving to URA FC in August 2025. His URA contract is currently listed as running until 30 June 2027.
During the 2025/26 campaign, Kiggundu established himself as a regular member of URA’s defence, recording 14 league appearances and 1,216 minutes. His experience and ability to play centrally or on the left make him a valuable component of the Tax Collectors’ defensive setup.
