Cynthia Kirenga is a promising Ugandan women’s footballer currently representing URA Ladies FC. A versatile attacking player, Kirenga has been deployed in midfield and forward positions, where she contributes through creativity, attacking movement and goalscoring. FUFA records confirm her progression from Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC to URA Ladies FC and her involvement with Uganda’s U17 women’s national team.

Kirenga has established herself as one of Uganda’s emerging youth internationals through the Teen Cranes. She was selected for Uganda’s 2026 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualification campaign, including the qualifying fixtures against Zimbabwe and Kenya. She was also included in the travelling squad for the decisive return leg against Kenya.

Her international development began producing notable results before joining URA. In December 2024, Kirenga scored as Uganda defeated Rwanda 8–0 to win the girls’ category of the CAF African Schools Football Championship CECAFA Zone.

At club level, Kirenga has already demonstrated her attacking influence for URA Ladies FC. During the 2025/26 Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Elite League, she scored in URA’s 2–1 victory over Boni Consili Girls FC and was named Woman of the Match for her performance.

Her continued development earned her another international selection when she was named among Uganda’s players for the 2026 CECAFA U17 Women’s Championship in Tanzania, with FUFA listing her as a URA Ladies FC forward.
