Elizabeth Nakigozi is an experienced Ugandan women’s footballer currently representing URA Ladies FC. An attack-minded and versatile player, she has competed at both domestic and international level and has represented several established clubs in Ugandan women’s football.

Nakigozi previously featured for UCU Lady Cardinals, Muteesa I Royal University and Lady Doves FC. She enjoyed notable success with Lady Doves, helping the club win the 2020/21 FUFA Women Super League title. In the championship final against UCU Lady Cardinals, Nakigozi opened the scoring from the penalty spot as Lady Doves secured a 2–1 victory.

She later represented Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga, where she developed into an influential attacking player and finished as the team’s top scorer with seven goals before earning a move to Kampala Queens FC in September 2022.

Nakigozi’s performances also earned her recognition with the Uganda Women’s National Team, the Crested Cranes. She was selected for Uganda’s squad during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games qualification campaign against Cameroon and featured in the national team’s preparations, including scoring in a 2–1 friendly victory over Kampala Queens in October 2023.

She subsequently joined URA Ladies FC, where her experience and attacking qualities contributed significantly to the club’s successful 2025/26 campaign. She scored in URA’s 3–0 FUFA Women’s Cup victory over Lady Eagles and also found the net as URA defeated Uganda Martyrs High School’s junior team 2–0 in the following round.

Nakigozi played an important role in URA Ladies’ 2025/26 Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Elite League title triumph. In the playoff final against Jinja United WFC, she delivered the through ball that set up Belinda Nabawanuka’s decisive goal in URA’s 1–0 victory. The result completed an unbeaten league campaign and secured promotion to the 2026/27 FUFA Women Super League.
