Isma Mugulusi is a talented Ugandan professional footballer who plays primarily as a central midfielder for URA FC. He is a technically versatile midfielder who can also operate in attacking and left-sided midfield roles. Current player records list him at 1.85 metres tall and wearing the No. 18 shirt for URA FC.

Mugulusi began his senior career with Busoga United, where he emerged as one of Uganda’s promising young midfielders. He later joined SC Villa before moving abroad to pursue professional football in Europe. His European experience included Makedonikos Neapolis in Greece’s second tier and a spell with FK Riteriai in Lithuania.

He returned to Ugandan football in August 2024, joining URA FC. His arrival strengthened URA’s midfield with a player who already possessed domestic, European and international experience.

At international level, Mugulusi has represented Uganda across several age groups. He was part of the Uganda Hippos squad that reached the final of the 2021 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, finishing runners-up to Ghana. He later captained Uganda at the 2023 U-20 AFCON in Egypt and progressed to senior Uganda Cranes football.

Current records credit Mugulusi with six senior international appearances for Uganda, further demonstrating his progression from youth international football to the senior national-team setup.
