Nicholas Kabonge is an experienced Ugandan professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for URA FC in the Uganda Premier League. He can also operate as a second striker, giving him flexibility in advanced attacking positions. Current player records list him at 1.74 metres tall, right-footed and wearing the No. 8 shirt for URA FC.

Kabonge previously represented SC Villa, one of Uganda’s most established football clubs. After leaving Villa at the end of the 2021/22 season, he joined URA FC in January 2023, initially signing a two-year contract with the Tax Collectors.

As an attacking midfielder, Kabonge is particularly valued for his passing, vision, shooting and ability to contribute in advanced areas. These qualities were highlighted when URA announced his signing as the club sought to strengthen its offensive department.

Kabonge has continued to feature in URA’s senior squad. During the 2024/25 Uganda Premier League season, he made 7 league appearances, including two starts, and accumulated 186 minutes of league action.

He remained part of URA’s squad during the 2025/26 campaign, with official Uganda Premier League match records continuing to list him as the club’s No. 8 midfielder.
