Proscovia Namataka is a Ugandan women’s footballer representing URA Ladies FC. She has demonstrated her attacking ability through important goals for the club and was part of the URA Ladies team that competed in the 2025/26 Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Elite League.

Namataka made an immediate impact at the beginning of URA Ladies’ 2025/26 league campaign. In the opening fixture against She Kasese Soccer Club, she scored the decisive goal in the 13th minute, securing a valuable 1–0 away victory for URA Ladies at Nyakasanga Primary School Playground in Kasese. FUFA specifically credited Namataka with the match-winning strike.

Her contribution in that opening fixture helped URA Ladies begin what became an outstanding campaign. The club went on to establish itself among the strongest teams in the competition, ultimately winning the 2025/26 FUFA Women Elite League championship and earning promotion to the Women’s Super League.

Namataka’s ability to make an impact in attacking areas, particularly through important goals, adds another dimension to URA Ladies’ forward play. Her continued development at the club provides her with an opportunity to build further competitive experience as URA Ladies progresses to the highest level of Ugandan women’s club football.
