Shakirah Nakintu is a Ugandan women’s footballer representing URA Ladies FC. A developing midfielder, she is part of the club’s growing women’s football programme and continues to build her technical, tactical and competitive experience within Uganda’s domestic football structure.

As a midfielder, Nakintu contributes to the team’s play through ball circulation, movement, positional awareness and support in both attacking and defensive phases. Her role requires composure in possession and the ability to connect different areas of the team.

Nakintu is part of the URA Ladies environment following a successful period for the club. URA Ladies won the 2025/26 Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Elite League, completing an unbeaten campaign and securing promotion to the FUFA Women Super League.

Her continued development within the URA Ladies setup provides an opportunity to gain valuable top-level competitive experience and further establish herself within Ugandan women’s football.
