URA FC delivered their most explosive performance of the season, overpowering Buhimba United Saints 7–3 in a ten-goal thriller that opened the Nakivubo double header on Wednesday. The emphatic victory also marked a winning start for assistant coach-in-charge Edward Golola, lifting the Tax Collectors from 13th to fifth on 11 points.
Joseph Ssemujju ignited URA’s charge in the 31st minute with a superb solo effort before Nelson Senkatuka’s well-struck free kick doubled the advantage. On the stroke of halftime, teenage midfielder Denis Luzige Kisiriko made it 3–0 after combining neatly with Ssemujju.
Buhimba briefly fought back after the restart, striking twice in four minutes through Martin Phillip Opolot’s curling free kick and an Edson Agondeze finish off a Swadik Moro assist to make it 3–2.
But URA’s response was ruthless. Fred Amaku restored control in the 70th minute after capitalising on a defensive lapse, added his second four minutes later from a Kabon Living delivery, and sealed his hat-trick in the 83rd minute with a calm finish to end any doubts. Charles Kyomuhendo pulled one back for Buhimba late on, before Kabon Living wrapped up URA’s seven-goal showcase in stoppage time.
