Uganda Revenue Authority on Friday held a colorful and engaging staff function to officially launch the UB40T campaign as the Authority enters the final stretch of the financial year revenue collection drive.
The event, which also marked the launch of the URA Runners and Walkers Club, brought together senior management, staff, and representatives from URA FC Junior Team and URA Ladies FC in a show of unity, teamwork, and commitment towards achieving the Authority’s goals.
The senior men’s team was not present at the function due to their Uganda Premier League fixture against Vipers SCplayed later on Friday evening.
The colorful engagement was graced by John R. Musinguzi, who rallied staff to intensify efforts in ensuring the Authority achieves its financial year revenue targets.

He emphasized that the set goals remain achievable through collective responsibility, discipline, dedication, and hard work from every member of staff.
During his remarks, the Commissioner General also applauded the performances of the URA FC men’s and women’s teams in their respective competitions, noting that the club continues to embody excellence, consistency, teamwork, and determination both on and off the field.
He further highlighted the importance of the newly launched URA Runners and Walkers Club, describing it as a key initiative aimed at promoting staff wellness, fitness, teamwork, and productivity across the institution.
