Custodian Derrick Ochan has joined URA FC on a two years deal, it’s official.
He joins us from KCCA FC where he spent the entire 2022-2023 season.
Ochan who is a product of the FUFA Juniors League has played for clubs like Vipers Junior Team and later joined Vipers senior team where he spent four years and Police FC.
He also serves as Acholi Province goalkeeper in the FUFA Drum and led them to the 2019 FUFA Drum triumph when they edged Bukedi 5-3 in the penalty shootout were he was the hero with the most important save that gave the province its maiden trophy.
With experience, he is expected to beef up the goalkeeping department that already has Denis Otim and Rogers Omedwa.
He becomes the club’s fourth signing after Isma Mugulusi, Abraham Tusubira and Bright Vuni and he is expected to make his debut against his former pay masters KCCA FC this Friday in the 2024/25 league opener at the MTN Omondi stadium.
