URA FC have officially confirmed the return of forward Bruno Bunyaga from the United States, where he has been pursuing both academics and football at James Madison University in Harrisonburg since August 2025.
The club had been fully aware of Bunyaga’s move and granted him the green light to take up the opportunity.
After completing his brief program, the striker is now back in Uganda and has already been training with the Tax Collectors for the past couple of weeks as he works toward full reintegration into the squad.

Before travelling to the USA, Bunyaga had renewed his contract with URA FC until 2027, ensuring his long-term commitment to the club. He was duly licensed for the ongoing StarTimes Uganda Premier League season and is now only awaiting license reactivation by FUFA before he can be available for selection.
His comeback provides a timely and significant boost to URA FC’s attacking options, adding quality and depth to a frontline that already features Nelson Senkatuka, Fred Amaku and rising teenage talent Denis Kisiriko.
Welcome back, Bruno.
