URA FC forward Ivan Ahimbisibwe has expressed his delight after netting the first hattrick of the season in a resounding 4-0 victory over Mbale Heroes on Saturday.
The “Hunter” led the charge with three clinical goals to take his tally to four this season so far while Amis Bwangani added the fourth to seal a dominant win in Mbale.
Ahimbisibwe, who scored 8 goals and provided 4 assists across all competitions last season is determined to improve his tally and help his team achieve more victories this campaign.
“It’s always great to get on the scoresheet but more importantly it’s about contributing to the team’s success,” he said. “I’m confident I can hit double figures this season if I stay focused and keep working hard.”
URA FC will return to action after the international break on 19th October facing Bul FC at Nakivubo Stadium where Ahimbisibwe will be hoping to continue his scoring form.
