URA FC has received a major boost with the return of promising left-back Shafiq Lugoloobi, who resumed training on Tuesday morning after three months on the sidelines due to injury.
Lugoloobi, who joined the Tax Collectors at the start of the season from FUFA Big League side Ntungasaz, sustained an injury during training in early December last year. He later underwent a successful operation and has since been on the road to recovery.
On Tuesday, he made his first appearance in training, taking part in light drills and running on the sidelines as he gradually works his way back to full fitness.

“I feel happy to be back, and I pray for a full comeback. I am now much better, and I want to thank the club management, doctors, technical team, my teammates, and my family for the support and love since I got injured. I really can’t wait to get started,” Lugoloobi told URA FC media.
His focus now shifts to regaining full match fitness as he looks to compete for a spot in coach Alex Isabirye’s squad for the remainder of the season.
