URA FC is pleased to confirm the return of experienced goalkeeper Chrispas Kusiima, who rejoins the club on a two-year contract following the expiry of his deal at Kitara FC.
Kusiima first featured for the Tax Collectors during the 2016 season, but with tough competition at the time, he left in search of playing time. Since then, he has featured for several clubs including Tooro United, Gaddafi FC, and Express FC where he helped the Red Eagles win the 2020/21 Uganda Premier League title.
In 2023, Kusiima joined Kitara FC and quickly became a key figure. He played a pivotal role in guiding the Royals to a top-five league finish and their historic Stanbic Uganda Cup triumph, which earned them a ticket to represent Uganda in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The just-concluded 2024/25 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season saw Kusiima at his very best. He featured in 27 matches, kept 16 clean sheets, and clocked a total of 2,430 minutes, earning him the Golden Glove award as the league’s best goalkeeper.
His performances also earned him continued national team recognition, currently serving as URA FC’s only representative on the Uganda Cranes local-based squad preparing for CHAN 2024, which will be co-hosted by Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania from 2nd to 30th August 2025.

Club Statistics Snapshot
Kitara FC (2024/25) – 27 matches, 16 clean sheets
Kitara FC (2023/24) – 25 matches, 9 clean sheets
Gaddafi FC (2022/23) – 10 matches, 7 clean sheets
Total – 62 matches, 32 clean sheets
Kusiima becomes URA FC’s second acquisition of the current transfer window, following the return of winger Living Kabon, also from Kitara FC.
He is expected to join the rest of the squad after fulfilling his national duties with the Cranes.
Everyone at URA FC warmly welcomes Chrispas Kusiima back home, and we look forward to his valuable contributions between the posts.
