URA Ladies FC have completed the signing of experienced defender Patience Nabulobi from Kampala Queens FC on a two-year contract, adding valuable experience and leadership to the Women Tax Collectors ahead of their maiden FUFA Women Super League campaign.
Nabulobi becomes the second player to join URA Ladies FC from Kampala Queens FC in the current transfer window, following the arrival of compatriot Shamusa Najjuma.
The hardworking defender brings a reputation for commitment, strength in aerial duels and defensive solidarity, qualities that are expected to strengthen the URA Ladies backline as the club prepares for its first-ever season in the top flight.
Her arrival comes at an important moment for the Women Tax Collectors, who earned promotion to the FUFA Women Super League after winning the FUFA Women Elite League while remaining unbeaten throughout their promotion campaign.
Nabulobi also arrives with a proven winning pedigree. She has lifted the FUFA Women’s Cup on three occasions, first with She Makerere in 2019, before triumphing with Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC in 2023 and Kampala Queens FC in 2026. She has also won the FUFA Women Super League title with Kampala Queens.
That experience, coupled with her leadership qualities, gives head coach and the URA Ladies technical team another dependable option as the club looks to make a strong impression on the biggest stage of Ugandan women’s football.
Speaking after completing her move, Nabulobi expressed her delight at joining URA Ladies FC and pledged to put her experience at the service of the team.

I have gained valuable experience from the teams I have played for, and I am ready to work hard, support my teammates and contribute everything I can to help us achieve our targets. Nabulobi now turns her attention to preparations for the new season, where her experience, physical presence and winning mentality will be crucial as URA Ladies FC embark on their historic FUFA Women Super League journey.
