After a challenging start to the campaign, Bunyaga finally opened his goal account in URA’s 2-0 win away to Mbarara City FC at Kakyeka Stadium, coming off the bench to make an impact.
He then followed that up with a stunning brace during URA’s emphatic 4-0 victory over Soltilo Bright Stars at the Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo on Wednesday.
Now recharged and brimming with confidence, Bunyaga is determined to keep pushing forward, giving credit to the collective support system around him.
“I am happy that I am now scoring goals, which is my role, but this season hasn’t been easy,” Bunyaga told the club media. “I thank the club management, technical team and my teammates for the support and love, even during the tough times. That kept me believing and working hard. I want to continue with the same spirit in the remaining games so I can help the team finish in respectable positions.”
URA FC and Bunyaga will now shift focus to their upcoming clash against KCCA FC in match day 24 of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League, set to be played at the Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo on Wednesday.
