As the 2025/26 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season gets underway, Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) have moved swiftly in the transfer market to bolster their squad with both experience and youthful promise.
The Tax Collectors kick off their campaign tomorrow, Friday at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru against Bul FC, and the new additions are expected to play a crucial role in shaping their season ambitions.
URA FC confirmed the acquisition of seven players, each signing a two-year contract. Among the most notable arrivals is proven goal-scorer Nelson Senkatuka, who joined from Soltilo Bright Stars FC to reinforce the attacking line. Also joining the forward department is Fred Amaku from Kitara FC, further strengthening the team’s offensive options.
On the wings, URA FC secured the services of Living Kabon, a versatile and pacey wide man from Kitara FC, while the defense was boosted by the arrivals of Arthur Kiggundu (Kitara FC) and Ronald Otti (Kitara FC).
The club also added depth between the posts with the signings of Muhammad Sekkeba from UPPC FC and Chrispas Kusiima from Kitara FC.
While strengthening the squad, the club also parted ways with several players. Enock Walusimbi, Denis Otim, Rogers Omedwa, James Alitho, Shariph Kimbowa, Ivan Ahimbisibwe, Bruno Bunyaga, and Oketch all left the club permanently, while Bright Vuni was sent out on loan to newly promoted UPPC FC.

With the blend of seasoned campaigners and exciting new talents, head coach Alex Isabirye will be looking to mount a strong challenge in the upcoming campaign. The clash against Bul FC will provide the first real test for the new-look side as they set their sights on competing at the very top of Ugandan football.
