URA FC is excited to announce the signing of promising attacking midfielder Isma Mugulusi from FK Riteriai of Lithuania.
Mugulusi was introduced in a distinctive ceremony at the URA headquarters in Nakawa on Thursday.
The 21-year-old has previously played for Makedonikos Neapolis in Greece’s second division, as well as Busoga United and SC Villa.
Notably, he was a crucial part of coach Morley Byekwaso’s squad that secured silver at the TotalEnergies CAF U-20 Championship in Mauritania in 2021.
Mugulusi made his senior debut for the Uganda Cranes in 2021 against South Africa in an international friendly match at the Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg and has since participated in the Cranes’ 2023 AFCON qualification campaign.
His arrival is expected to significantly enhance Coach Alex Isabirye’s attacking lineup for the upcoming 2024/25 season.
