He returns to Nakawa as a free agent following two fruitful seasons with the Hoima-based side, where he scored 13 league goals and played a key role in Kitara’s 2024 Stanbic Uganda Cup triumph.

Kabon is no stranger to the Tax Collectors, having first joined the club in 2021 and spent two seasons before departing in 2023. His earlier stint saw him rise as one of URA’s most enterprising attackers, and the club is excited to once again benefit from his dynamism, flair, and eye for goal.

Speaking to the club media after sealing his return, Kabon expressed his gratitude and ambition, saying:

“I want to thank URA FC for bringing me back home. This is where I feel I belong, and I’m happy to be here again. I’ve gained a lot of experience during the two years I’ve been away, and I believe that will help me achieve my goals — to score goals, help the club win titles, and give everything for the badge.”

Kabon’s journey in Ugandan football started with Bugoigo Leopards in the Kitara Regional League, before making his mark at Onduparaka FC. His attacking prowess and creativity earned him a move to URA FC, and later to Kitara FC, where he further established himself as a consistent performer in the Uganda Premier League.

His return adds quality and depth to coach Alex Isabirye’s attacking options as the team prepares for the upcoming season.

Welcome back, Kabon Living — once a Tax Collector, always a Tax Collector!
