URA Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Elvis Ssekajugo from Express FC on a two-year contract.
The talented midfielder becomes the second addition to the Tax Collectors squad in the ongoing transfer window, following the signing of Muhammad Kyeyune, as the club continues to reinforce its squad ahead of the new season.
Ssekajugo joins URA FC with a reputation as an exciting and promising midfielder, bringing qualities of creativity, energy, technical ability, and tactical awareness that will add value to the team’s midfield department.
Having developed through the ranks and gained valuable experience at both club and national level, the midfielder has established himself as one of the country’s emerging talents.
At international level, Ssekajugo has represented Uganda at youth level, featuring for the Uganda U18 national team, where he was part of the squad that won the CECAFA U18 Championship in Kenya in 2023. He has also earned recognition with the Uganda U20 national team (Hippos), further underlining his potential and continued growth in the game.
His arrival forms part of URA FC’s continued commitment to building a competitive squad by attracting young, talented players capable of contributing to the club’s ambitions.
Speaking after completing his move to the Tax Collectors, Ssekajugo expressed his excitement about joining URA FC and his readiness to make a positive impact.
