Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) have strengthened their squad ahead of the 2026/27 season with the signing of talented winger Muhammad Kyeyune as their first new arrival of the transfer window.
The exciting wide player joins the Tax Collectors from Entebbe UPPC FC on a three-year contract after an impressive campaign with the side last season, adding more attacking options to URA FC’s squad.
Upon completing his move, Kyeyune expressed his excitement about joining URA FC, describing the transfer as a dream come true while pledging commitment and hard work to help the club achieve its ambitions.
“I am very happy and grateful to join URA FC. It is a dream come true to be part of this great club, and I am ready to work hard, give my best every day and help the team achieve its goals. Whenever I am given an opportunity, I want to prove myself on the pitch and show what I can bring to the team,” Kyeyune said.
Known for his flair, creativity and ability to take on defenders, Kyeyune is a versatile attacking player who can operate on both wings, with his preferred position being the left side, while also capable of playing as a number 10.
The left-footed attacker brings valuable experience from his previous spells with several clubs across the country and region. Before joining Entebbe UPPC, Kyeyune spent two seasons at Muhazi United in Rwanda between 2023 and 2025, where he enjoyed an impressive run, scoring nine goals and providing eight assists.
He later moved to Entebbe UPPC FC, contributing two goals and three assists during the 2025/26 season before earning his move to URA FC.
Kyeyune began his football journey at KCCA Soccer Academy before progressing through clubs including Maroons FC, Soltilo Bright Stars, Muhazi United in Rwanda and Entebbe UPPC.
His arrival marks the beginning of URA FC’s preparations for the new campaign as the club continues to build a competitive squad capable of challenging for success under new head coach Jimmy Kintu.
